Very clean inside, with plenty of baguettes, sandwiches and rolls still available even in the afternoon. I sat inside to eat my baguette and sausage roll and the eating area was very pleasant and clean, with the tables and chairs wiped nicely. Staff very pleasant and helpful, taking my order quickly and efficiently and as usual with Gregg's, the food was extremely nice, the ham and cheese baguette was fresh and tasty, and the sausage roll warm enough to eat comfortably. I was pleased with the service I received and would go there for food again.

Great staff. Great coffee. Editing a 4 month old review: I still frequent this store, but the head office have decided to shut it down in the coming months. They now don't provide fresh ingredients to produce the sandwiches/baguettes for the fridge and instead just deliver a small amount for the day. These fridges are now almost always empty by midday. They refused to provide security staff even though staff behind the counter are constantly on the receiving end of threats/abuse and are expected to leave thieves to their stealing. This obviously has negative effects on profits and is no doubt why they're being shut down. Such a shame as they've employed some lovely ladies over the years. Can always get a bit of banter with your food.

We visited soho birmingham as i have a family wedding in the summer (shopping for clothes) stopped off for food, service was brilliant from the lady on the counter and my fave hot cheese and onion pasties
