An interesting combination of music and book shop and a little coffee house. Seemingly unchanged forever, the shelves are full of interesting and carefully categorised books, CDs and records. The cafe is small and cosy, serving teas, coffees and little cakes (mostly tray bakes). The prices are reasonable and service speedy and friendly.

Just as a change of scenery today we left the wonderful Green Man Festival in Clun and finished the afternoon at Yarborough House in Bishops Castle. How good it was to still find such a quirky, charming, gem of a place in our sad Americanised island that lacks any degree of taste and class. Thank you , Carol for your lovely tea, cakes , CD and Bookshop.
