Good basic fish and chip shop. Nicely cooked, fish were particularly tasty and not too much batter. Friendly staff

I usually pop in here when seeing my friends who live just along the road from it, it is a little gem, lovely owners, freshly prepared and cooked food and good portion sizes too, good value for money

Conveniently located which is a bonus, however, there is most often a bit of a wait, especially when a small queue forms.
Other Chip shops seem to work that little bit faster.
The food is good, not the best but tasty all the same.
The staff are friendly but with only one or two can add to the wait times.
Convenience and pricing keeps this chippy on my list.

Lovely fish and chips.
Always fresh and lovely and hot.
Lovely Chinese couple and in my view they can cook fish and chip a lot better than probably our national food.

Much cheaper and better than seniors. The service is lovely and the food is fresh. I always love everything about the squirrel chippy. Highly, highly recommend!

I have been going to the Squirrel for over a year now and never disapponted , it is a carvery, it is alwase buisy so the food is hot and fresh. Two can eat for under a tenner with drinks. Ten out of ten for me.
