I have been going to the Squirrel for over a year now and never disapponted , it is a carvery, it is alwase buisy so the food is hot and fresh. Two can eat for under a tenner with drinks. Ten out of ten for me.
Food is always really hot and tasty, owners are always welcoming and kind. Best chippy in the area!

Conveniently located which is a bonus, however, there is most often a bit of a wait, especially when a small queue forms.
Other Chip shops seem to work that little bit faster.
The food is good, not the best but tasty all the same.
The staff are friendly but with only one or two can add to the wait times.
Convenience and pricing keeps this chippy on my list.
I usually pop in here when seeing my friends who live just along the road from it, it is a little gem, lovely owners, freshly prepared and cooked food and good portion sizes too, good value for money
Takeaway service, fish cooked to order & quality food f&c = £7.
Easily the best chippy around. Consistently good and very reasonably priced. Won't go anywhere else. 👍

Much cheaper and better than seniors. The service is lovely and the food is fresh. I always love everything about the squirrel chippy. Highly, highly recommend!
