Nuts About Coffee

For as far as I can remember, I’ve always ordered a flat white from this cafe whenever I’m in Blackburn. Their coffee has always been consistent which shows in the line that’s always there when I want to buy a coffee from them. Definitely one of the best coffees and baristas in the eastern suburbs! Not to mention the coffee is always served by their friendly staff paired with their complimentary muesli bicky that comes with the coffee!

Came here based on reviews. But found terrible service. The one at the register on arrival just blankly stared at me for half a minute until I asked “should I sit down for table service?” This was 9.30am on a Saturday. Coffee was ok and yes they have cute takeaway coffee cups. Limited food options which is fine, croissant was fresh. Explored the courtyard - watched as other customers experienced no service provided in the courtyard including at least dropping off menus or checking in with the customers seated there. Perhaps with all the development in the area they need to rethink and set a higher standard or they’ll lose even their loyal customers

There are plenty of reasons as to why there is always a crowd. So do expect to wait in a queue, especially in the mornings. But it is worth it. Easily the nicest coffee in this part of the city, located just across the road from Blackburn railway station. There is a gorgeous family and pet friendly courtyard at the rear. Great for socialising and to enjoy the sun. Mike and his courteous staff wraps up an enjoyable experience, everytime.
