The Joy Parade

My support worker and myself had a break from our moday menu planning and cooking. After I had a medical appointment, we went out for lunch here. A very pleasant experience for both of us. The food was delicious and they had gluten free orange cake which i loved. My support worker had a white choc and raspberry muffin to share with her partner and i hear it was delicious too. We both found the staff very helpful. It is very spacious inside and they have a disabled toilet available as well. Update: I took another support worker here all of an hour ago and it was fantastic. Great service and a delicious gluten free cake. I had yummy scrambled eggs and my worker had an egg and bacon roll. They have a fantastic gift shop, i bought 6 birthday cards. Unfortunately there is only one disabled car park and its a bit far away from the cafe. I would suggest someone speaking to the council to get more disability parking here. Regards, leonie. This afternoon I called in to get some food and coffee. The bread was stale on the sandwich. Coffee was okay. The main thing that I noticed was the way the server was speaking to a elderly lady after me that I found concerning and condescending. Better care definitely needs to be taken with the way people are spoken to especially elderly people that are vulnerable. I strongly suggest taking the road of kindness when speaking to customers as after seeing that I won’t be returning
