The Sea is a lovely little place, one of the top five places for fish and chips in all of Blackpool in my opinion. The menu is very expensive and the food is hot, fresh and delicious, the service is adequate and the place itself is both clean and comfortable. While pricey, most of the top fish and chip restaurants are, so I won't hold it against it. The Sea is well worth a visit, for both tourists and residents. I would highly recommend.
Fantastic fish and chips! It was all superbly crispy and tasty. You need to pay by cash which is a bit of a pain though.
Great food, we ordered classic Fish & Chips and Chicken nuggets with chips and we were very satisfied. The staff was super friendly and nice. I definitely recommend the place.
They were out of their prawns. I think they were torpedo shrimp. Of the places that I had fish and chips, this was the best fish and chips I have had in my week in the UK.
This place was also more of a restaurant feel vs many of the other F&C places. You walk in and sit at a table vs it feeling like an American fast food ordering station. You do have to go to the counter to order but that is it. They will deliver your food also.
Great clean place, friendly staff and gorgeous food. Will definitely come back. Portions are big and fresh. Squid rings tasted amazing and not chewy 🙂 chips were crunchy and fresh 😋
Best fish and chips we have ever had in Blackpool or fish suppers as we call it them in Scotland. Great service, massive portions and cooked to perfection. Two lady staff members were lovely, and so friendly definitely recommend
Really tasty fish and chips!! We ordered a large fish and chips (which came as 2 battered cods) and also a senior citizen meal for my dad (huge portion, for a really cheap price)! You definitely get more than you paid for. Staffs were all smiley and welcoming, and the place was clean too. Will definitely be back here if I’m ever in Blackpool again.
We called in for a Takeaway meal only, in between watering holes on a Friday evening on the same night as the Blackpool Illuminations Switch On.
Our plan was just to order a fish each and sit on one of the nearby benches outside on Church Street.
But we checked the prices and noticed how much they have increased since a previous visit some time ago, so we ordered the Kids Fish and Chips which brought the price down to just under £10 for both meals.
The portions were a good size and a full size meal would have been too much for both of us.
So, kids meal it is for future reference!
The service was very quick, the food was well cooked and red hot 👌
I've marked "Atmosphere" in the middle score, only because we didn't sit inside to eat, which would have made for a false grading.
Brilliant! It's a bit pricey for me, but the food was amazing, and so was the service.
Very nice fish and chips. Before you order the large fish and chips, it comes with 2 fish which I could never finish. I took the rest with me in a box they gave me.
Came back again in August, got the small fish this time a yet you still got a lot. Best fish and chips in Blackpool in my opinion
