Sheraton Chinese Restaurant

Have you ever had that itch for westernised Chinese food? Where all the meat (from chicken to beef) has that same slightly firm but overall soft texture and it feels like they over rely on msg. Then this is the place to go in blackwood, if not you will be disappointed. The staff are friendly, there is a wide selection to pick from, the sauces are good and they are prompt (good hallmarks for a quick meal).

I find most Chinese Takeaway places "cheap and nasty" This place is even worse than "cheap and nasty" I'm not going to go into great detail so I will just tell you about the special fried rice. It smells bad looks bad taste bad, it also contained alot of raw fat off cuts died pink WTF I will never go back And the worst part so "Typical" they short change me, Yes they tried to STEAL from me

If I could give a minus rating I would. The most disgusting Chinese I have ever tried. Paid $70. Was inedible and had to be thrown in the bin. What a terrible waste of money. Bought 5 dishes and spring rolls. The spring rolls were oily and contained cabbage and that was about it! The fried rice was over cooked mush with nothing in it and a weird yellow colour. Mongolian beef wash revolting with runny bland sauce and hardly any meat that was flattened out to paper thin and the rest was made up of mixed frozen vegetables (I'm serious frozen packet mixed vegetables!) Chicken in BBQ sauce consisted of hardly any chicken and once again the same frozen mixed vegetables in a sauce that was the same bland tasting sauce as the Mongolian beef sauce but was red instead of brown. The Sheraton combination with cashews had 2 prawns, 3 slices of red paper thin pork, sparing amounts of beef and chicken and 6 cashew nuts with once again the same frozen mixed vegetables and the same tasting sauce but clear in colour this time. The pork spare ribs in plum sauce had 5 pieces of pork in a bright red coagulated goo that tasted just like the other sauces but thick like glue and iridescent red. Do yourself a favour and do not waste your money here. Go to the supermarket and get a packet of mixed frozen veggies and some cheap meat and a jar of kantong sauce and you'd have yourself a feast by comparison to what you can get at this place. At a mere fraction of the cost at that!! This place takes highway robbery to a new level and tastes disgusting.
