The Special Burger on arrival, was I to climb it or eat it? Beautifully presented and special. Tasted delicious. These guys are foodies and proud of their hospitality. A local jewel.

I like the Coal Hole.The food is very nice.The steaks and curries we`ve had were very good and portions are large.Car park is pot holed and on a steep gradient tho. The landlord is a bit of a character and very welcoming.

Went there with four kids and the meal was fantastic and very filling. The people there were really friendly and the food was very tasty and extremely affordable, definitely worth going if you have a small budget.

Amazing little pub, full of character great staff great atmosphere, wide range of food at reasonable prices . Never had a bad meal here ever . Only takes cash though so be careful not to be caught out there .

Very nice food with a huge amount of choices and various options. The steak I had was very large a tasty. The only downsides were lack of card payment options! Recommended for a nice meal out in the local area which many people aren't aware of.

This pub offers a warm friendly atmosphere with its welcoming staff. They offer a fantastic range of meals all of which are very tasty and plentiful. Well worth a visit.
