Cod Father

My 1st time here and I was not disappointed. I ordered potatoes fritters with mince beef and onion pie and it batter on my fritters was perfect! I'm not a big fan of batter but this was great and not at all greasy. Staff members were friendly and very helpful, the atmosphere was relaxing. There was plenty of room in the restaurant I even had my son's trike by our booth and people still had room to move! My kids loved their dinner. I would definitely come back here

Disgusting, vile, cold, flavourless is not something you will say when eating here! I ordered a large cod & chips with Irish curry sauce and wow 👀 it was delicious 😋. The curry sauce was full of flavour, just the right amount of sugar and spice and all things nice. The largest portion of cod you could dream of, cooked perfectly in a delicious batter the thick juicy chunks of cod are in every bite. As for the The chips 🍟 .. Well these are divine, huge, chunky, hot, and cooked perfectly, just the right texture. This has to be the best fish and chip shop I have ever eaten at, even seaside establishments such as the ones in Barry are mediocre in comparison. I hope codfather never changes. One suggestion please add a spicy curry sauce for your chicken curry options please and maybe use shredded chicken breast to give it that unique handmade taste and feeling 😉
