Popped in on the way past having seen the reviews and we were well rewarded. Echo all the other comments about the welcome and get yourself a Kurdish pasty. Excellent brunch on a very wet day.

Lovely pastries and run by a very enthusiastic and friendly baker. Sadly none of the famous signature pasties on the day I visited so will have to make sure I pass again in the future!

Great experience, such a friendly owner, chatted us through all the options and recommendations. The pasties were to die for, we had minted lamb, feta and spinach and the famous spicy Kurdish pasty and all were amazing. We're not in the area often but will 100% be back when we are! Diolch!

Tried the "Kurdish pastie" as I'd only heard good things. it's more like a Calzone than a pastie but it didn't dissapoint.

I was hoping somebody on here had managed to get a snap of the owners mustache because it is glorious. I guess that's something to look forward to when you visit.
The only thing better than that tash, is the stuff he bakes! After not quite believing the place could have a genuine perfect 5 star rating on Google, I was quickly educated.
The kurdish pasties are amazing. Proper hefty units, crammed with meat, and a spice level that you know about. They are a full meal.
I got the meat one and he has tempted me with tales of chickpea based / vegan ones being available tomorrow morning.

You have to try the Kurdish pasties had the vegan one a few years back and it was amazing, had the meat version today and it was magnificent. Lots of love and lots of spice go into them. Do not judge the food by the old decor of the place, it has a 5-star hygiene rate and most definitely a 5-star belly rating!
