Food was great, really enjoyed it. We went without a reservation and they slotted us in right away, great service in that regard.
Only negative is that the wait for the bill was longer than it should have been and i had to get up and ask sombody again as my little one was getting restless and we wanted to go.

The pub is really friendly, serving good food. It is a bit isolated, but as we were staying in a cottage about a mile away, it was local to us. Staff were great, and so was the food. Very dog friendly, too.

Had Sunday lunch here. Cannot say enough about the fantastic food and service. So attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The roast lamb was amazing and everything was freshly cooked. The refurbishment has clearly paid off.

Room is compact but exquisite. Truly comfortable and all that is needed. The real highlight and bonus is the food. Exceptional meal in every way. The duck was sublime. 5star and good value for money considering the quality.
