Reasonably priced food albeit a small menu the house chilli was good. Beers good value and tastes great. Definitely a locals place but me and my girlfriend felt fine popping in as we were staying down the road. If you need a taxi from here at night book it early as possible as we nearly got stranded!
What a fantastic old pub! Very atmospheric, the beer is excellent and the Ploughmans lunches we had were superb and enormous. Very friendly barlady, will definitely visit again.
Good little pub plenty of guest real ale plus other alcoholic beverages.... dog friendly... weekend entertainment ....Nice atmosphere relax and chill out ... bear garden very good as well
