We were intrigued by the little coffee caribbean so decided to have a look inside. A lovely, friendly and welcoming atmosphere was what we walked into. Was intrigued by the coktails, coffee and of course the Caribbean food.
We ordered 3 lunchbox which had jerk chicken, curried goat, rice and peas and home made slaw along with . We took out to sit by the beach. The chef put these all in a bag for life for us along with a few little sweet things! The bar man was lovely and very friendly. It was nice to see workers who engaged with their customers and not just serve and then to be ignored. It was very clear the pride taken in the quality of the food. The curried goat was beautiful, with plenty of meat along with sauce. Jerk chicken was a perfect size and complemented the dish with a balance between heat and spice. The slaw..... Well that was deffo home made and just pulled the dish together. All in all would recommend and i will definitely be coming back on our next visit.
What a great little place. A very warm welcome from the owner. Fabulous 241 cocktails from 4.30 - 6.30 Tuesday to Saturday. Live music weekends. Not sampled the food but hear its very good. Give it a go!
Second visit to this wonderful Cocktail bar πΉ. Since our first visit last July, the bar has moved to the much larger premises next door and now occupies the corner plot. The St Bede's, Redhill, Surrey class of 1979 to 1983 now use this establishment as the official reunion venue π Lovely welcome from Karen and her team who amazingly remembered us from our first visit π π. Great atmosphere and amazing Cocktails. Thoroughly recommended π π
Lovely drinks and really yummy jerk chicken at a decent price.
We saw this place a couple of months back and it had great music playing and wanted to try then, glad we did, good vibes.
Thanks so much.
If you like rum, this is the place for you. The staff are friendly and will make time for you unless the bar is packed. I highly recommend going here.
Pina colda's we're yummy π€€π
Nice place
We didn't stay long
We discovered this place accidentally. We'd just dined across the road so we didn't order food however the menu looks appertising, jerk chicken, ackee & saltfish, curry goat etc.
As I couldn't dine I followed my other passion, rum!
The bar has a good selection of rums but unfortunately none of them to my taste. I prefer aged sipping rum and those on offer are all spiced rums better matched with mixers or used in cocktails.
There was one unspiced rum on offer from the British Virgin Islands named "Soggy Dollar": I ordered a double. It wasn't bad and a lot better than I expected.
Next trip to Bognor, I'll try the food.
Many thanks to Karen for putting up with my incessant questions.
Great little place with a big heart for hospitality. Karen and her team always await you with a friendly Caribbean welcome. Had a lovely evening there last night, despite the wild and windy weather outside. Great drinks, very reasonably priced (2-4-1 cocktails before 18.30pm) and always service with a smile. What an asset this place is to dear old Bognor.
Nice friendly bar enjoyed pleasant couple off hour socialising with friends. Nice and clean with friendly staff and good service.
Such a lovely ambience and lush staff!
