Probably the best curry I've ever had. We went for the Nepali dishes that you don't get everywhere else and they were delicious.

Picked up a takeaway for my Husband and he couldn’t get enough. He thought the food was delicious and he wont hesitate going back. The restaurant was busy and looked lovely so we most likely will be going very soon! Well done Team Gurka!!
Never been disappointed here. The service is always spot on. They even placed the hot dinner plate away from the young child at our table for safety.
Food is of an excellent standard. Presented well, piping hot and so so tasty. Another thoughtful serving technique - they remember who ordered which dish so it is placed by the appropriate guest.
Advisable to dine early as it can become quite noisy when fully booked.

We were staying locally and saw the good reviews so decided to try their take away. We selected onion bhaji, veg samosa and 2 veggie mains and 2 side dishes. We were there just after opening time, service was quick which sometimes is not a good sign but we were very impressed with the quality of the food.
The bhaji were crisp, not at all oily and beautifully spiced. The samosas nice but the very best were the veggie dishes, quite different in flavour to our normal restaurants. All very flavoursome, each very different to the others (often not the case with veggie options) and made with fresh ingredients.
Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Excellent service and staff very polite and patient. Food was outstanding, I can recommend the goat curry and their nan bread is lovely. A great evening out.
Tried a takeaway from Gurkha 91 for the first time this week. The food arrived quickly and we were all pleased with the food. The menu is a mix of recognisable Indian restaurant favourites (Tikka, Korma etc) and a broad range of other dishes and flavour combinations, some inspired by Nepalese cuisine as the name would suggest. The portion sizes were good, the food was flavoured really well and prices reasonable so we will definitely be going back.
