What a delightful little place this is. The food is wonderfully fresh, and the staff are always very friendly. I understand the staff are volunteers as the cafe is a non-profit organisation, supporting people with mental health concerns. That in itself makes me want to visit the establishment, but the high standard in food seals the deal. I highly recommend the Don't Lose Hope Cafe.

A lovely place run by volunteers. But was very slow service. Food was lovely and tea was a good cuppa

Beautiful place lovely relaxed atmosphere, staff so friendly and welcoming. Food looked delicious but we're just there for a tea and coffee definitely return for food. Beautiful original features and decor. Highly reccomend

Lovely small tearoom with a menu of paninis and sandwiches, plus some lovely homemade cakes. Staff are all lovely and really make you feel welcome. Best tasting coffee in town. All profits are used to support people who are in need of mental health counselling.

Lovely little café! Being from London, I felt a little lost in Bourne and didn’t really know where to go… Didn’t feel like going to generic franchise Costa Coffee and wanted to give the locals some support… I pushed the door and was warmly welcomed by the waitress. I ordered a latte and a slice of brownie and was invited to take a sit. When I realised my payment had been declined, I rushed to the counter to cancel my order but the waitress was super understanding and said she would cover the cost (!?). I apologised and thanked her profusely… The coffee was lovely and the brownie delightful! Not too sweet, just perfect! I had a very relaxing time and enjoyed a few words with a customer. I finally managed to pay for my order and was happy to be able to leave a tip… Thank you all for your generosity and kindness! I’ll be back as soon as I have a chance to visit Bourne again…

Stumbled upon this lovely little Cafe for a coffee and a bit to eat with my wife. Really friendly helpful staff, a good varied menu, the food and drinks were great and very reasonable priced, under £15 for 2 drinks and 2 sandwiches. Thank you.

The cafe is so friendly and welcoming, every time we take our kids in it's a real treat and the staff are just fantastic. Would rate higher than 5 stars if I could!

Lovely but busy little cafe. The staff are all friendly, helpful, and volunteers; the cafe funds a professional counselling service. I had pancakes and coffee, both were lovely
