Walked in at lunch-time. Would advise booking as we got the last available table. Food was great; lunchtime menu 1 course £9. Fish pie was lovely (quite a few prawns in there), fish in batter was superb and scampi cooked just right. Lovely friendly staff and we’ll be back :)

Best meal I've had out in ages! Had chicken with stilton filling and it was delicious. Friends had excellent fish dinners. We were spoilt rotten by the staff too. Can't wait to go back!

Visited with a large walking group for lunch. We pre-ordered our meals from a wide selection choice, all served quickly & hot with plenty of side dishes.
Very good quality of food served & value for money.
No complaints from the group.
Also has a good car parking area at rear, well worth a visit.

So much can be said for time. Over the last few visits i can say this has gone from good to great. Polite staff. Clean pun and beer. Excellent choice of meats (sunday lunch). a pleasure to visit again and again. We'll see you very soon

Our first visit to the pub yesterday, it is well laid out and organised for distancing etc. The menu could have been clearer with children's menu on the reverse, however, the food was outstanding and great value for money, we paid £65 for mains and drinks for 6 of us. I would not hesitate to recommend. 😃
