Eaten here twice now and both times have been brilliant! Food is superb, service is fab and the atmosphere is vibrant! The detail in the decor is my favourite part. A lot of love and effort has gone in to this place and it definitely needs to be visited to be appreciated!

Went for a one off night out and I’m definitely going back! The staff were so friendly and the environment was incredible especially as it isn’t my usual, I still felt included! Even drinking a lemonade was amazing quality and friendly staff
One of the bartenders were so quick to clear up empty cups and refill!

took my step daughter here last night, for a meal in Modern Times. She is over from Grand Cayman, where food is a big thing. This surpassed everything we have eaten out there, when we visit. The staff were friendly. The food was fabulous , so tasty and great value. Good sized portions . Nice relaxed atmosphere. I always recommend this restaurant to all of my guests who visit my guest house. Never had a bad comment made. Quirky pub as well, award winning, shows off local musical talent as well as some bands and artists from further afield. Visit Boscombe Visit Chaplins and Modern Times.

Great quirky pub in Boscombe town centre, with really friendly staff. Outside, there is a beer garden, and the cellar is just as interesting, where they have bands and singer songwriters performing. A very relaxed atmosphere 😊

This place is a true hidden gem. We'd been past on the bus a thousand times but never been in, today we took the plunge and were so glad we did. If you like chain bars, this isn't the place for you, as it is individual, quirky and welcoming, with friendly and efficient service, great decor packed with Charlie Chaplin themed art and spectacular food. We visited on a Sunday and had the most beautiful roast dinner, freshly cooked, hot and delicious. For a couple of quid more we added a pudding each, which were generous and plate-lickingly good. However, the best part of our visit was the service and welcome from the staff, who couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay as much as they clearly enjoyed their work. Don't be fooled, Boscombe doesn't have the best reputation, and from the outside you might pass Chaplins by, but step over the threshold as we did and you'll not be disappointed.

I really like this place. The beer garden is really nice and they often have live music on downstairs. Beer selection is great too and the food is very good. I'd definitely recommend coming here for food and drink, probably during the day though rather than the evening.

Possible my most favourite place in Bournemouth/Boscombe to drink, eat, and listen to music.
Eclectic decor inside and outside, and in the cellar. Great range craft and cask ales, lagers and wines. Service always friendly and efficient with a great mix of clientelle of all ages and background.l. Live music in cellar is varied range from ska to rock, folk to jazz.

Super friendly staff, lovely casual vibe and great food.
Lots of beers to choose from too.
