Very nice fish and chips, we’ve visited a few times. Prices are cheap for the area. Fish portions are big and the mushy peas are the best I’ve had (my mum agrees and she’s a northerner) the owner always very friendly and smiley too!

First day over from USA and because it was Monday very few Fish and chips shops were open. We found the Pokesdown chippy and it was amazing we had Cod and Chips and Haddock and chips and believe me they were amazing. Cooked very well and the portions were a good size.Well done sir we will be back before we head up north Oct 23rd 2023

I have never been so unbelievably amazed at how fresh and tasty food could be from a chip shop. The food here is always cooked with the best quality produce, never taste greasy and the service is above and beyond any place I’ve had a takeaway. These guys are absolutely fantastic and so friendly. I would not order from anywhere else ☺️
