What a great find in Charminster, great food and service. Unique menu with loads to offer. The puffpuff(dumpling starter) were awesome. The goat curry was the best we have ever had, definitely come back.

My family and I had a fantastic experience at Mimis. My twin and I needed somewhere where we could have a taste of Nigeria locally in celebration of our birthday. We had an array of dishes and each dish arrived freshly cooked, piping hot and delicious. I particularly loved the grilled fish with plantain and my kids loved the jollof rice. My elderly mum loved the roasted plantain which was served with palm oil. The atmosphere was very inviting and it was no surprise that we stayed so long because we felt at home. The couple were very friendly, kind and attended to our needs and requests in a very timely manner. The music in the background was appropriate for the environment and was played at a good level in order to allow for conversations. I will definitely be going back again soon and will be recommending Mimis to anyone who would love to experience Nigerian delicacies cooked with care and attention to detail.

When I saw African restaurant, I knew I had to try their naija jollof, chicken and assorted meat, and it was worth it. Would try the Sea food menu next time. The Atmosphere was Lovely.

Great food.... beautiful setting.... I was so pleased to have a taste of Nigerian Fanta again after a very long time. Customer Service was great as you do not need to wait for long before been served your meal. Lovely time out for my family.... we will be visiting again.

I enjoyed the food, music and nice ambiance. Went there with my Asian friend who also loved the food, surprisingly she ate all of it. Again the staff was very polite and friendly throughout our time there. Kudos to you all...

First time visiting and it was a wonderful experience. Shout out to the chef and Pauline who delivered every meal to perfection. Reminded me so much of what I miss from back home. Will definitely recommend and visit again when next I’m in Bournemouth.

Wonderful dining experience...fabulous to see some exciting new food choices and taste something different. Everything beautifully presented and very friendly service. Had the delicious goat curry but will definitely come here again because there's so much else on the menu I want to try!! Thank you for a lovely initiation into West African food!!!
