Have recently moved to the area with my little boy and stumbled across Idah’s on a walk.
The staff are so friendly and took the time to speak to me about opening times and when best to come during their opening hours!
Not to mention the selection is amazing and taste delicious!
Couldn’t recommend them anymore!

Great food great prices. Such a shame the new young staff member is horrendous. Going to lose lots of business with her serving. Extremely slow, repeats your order 5 times and still gets it wrong. Server multiple times over a 6 week period and still hasn’t changed. Won’t return unless I see she’s not working
Can't fault this place. The sandwiches are great, fresh and made to order. Always a variety of fillings, a wide selection of cakes too. Everything I've had from here has always been excellent. Decent prices and the staff are all lovely too. One of the best places to grab a lunch in the Bournemouth area.
Great bakery and great staff especially Sam and the lady in the store even agreed to deliver my products on her way home to my hotel as I couldn’t get to the bakery in time before they close at 2pm. I will be a regular customer from now on everytime I’m in Bournemouth or boscombe !

I had the tastiest cheese and onion since the beginning of my visit to the UK!
Visited this morning (01/07) and ordered 25 various cakes, although we should have pre-ordered (error on our behalf) they were very accommodating with our request. We now have 25 extremely happy members of staff who have all said the cakes were outstanding. Thanks for all your help.
WARNING - THE CAKES ARE TOO GOOD! - I have never had a duff one, they are delicious, all freshly made and so tasty! the sandwiches are well filled and the staff are great. I really like this place and when I am close by, will pop in and grab something from here for lunch. Thankfully I now work away from the area... my waistline is happier, but my tummy isnt!
Always good food and friendly staff, been coming here for years highly recommended. I have alot of choice as drive around UK for job and this is easily my favourite bakery
Idah's isn't just a patisserie it's an institution, at least among local tradesmen. In addition to an array of fresh cakes and doughnuts they are easily the best sandwich shop in town offering a selection of classic fillings such as lamb & mint (my favourite), chinese chicken, hot bacon & sausage, or I suppose you could just have ham if you wanted to, served in a choice of fresh breads and rolls with spread or (most importantly) real butter, salad, and topped off with freshly ground salt & pepper, to take away in paper bags.
If you don't fancy a sandwich Idah's have a hot food display containing various pies, pasties, pizzas and sausage rolls.
Prices are very reasonable, although bottled drinks are a bit cheaper in the Premier shop next door.
