Solid 5 stars. We stayed there for a night when visiting the Cotswolds and had a great time. Quality barman, quality ales, good food and a very inviting fireplace along with welcoming staff. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Cotswolds. Also - awarded 2022 camra pub of the year award for the region.

We were staying just up the road from The Mousetrap and visited three times. Excellent food, Sunday lunch is fabulous. Friendly service, great atmosphere. Well worth a visit. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic atmosphere and even better food! This place really does stand out from start to finish. From friendly, considerate and welcoming staff to incredible food and cosy environment! I couldn’t recommend this any more!! Stephen and Michelle should be proud with how they’ve made this local public house thrive!!

Great Sunday roast with all the trimmings. We had beef, pork and chicken with extra cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets. All really well cooked and delicious. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Slightly away from the busy centre but well worth the walk. Will be back if we are in the area again.

We loved staying at this inn, we notified them that we would arrive significantly later than check in time and the staff had stayed late to accommodate us. This was unnecessary but greatly appreciated! The staff even helped us with our luggage. The room was very comfortable and the provided fan was great on a summer night. The breakfast was also excellent and service was wonderful. We have nothing but positive things to say and would highly recommend this inn.

Very enjoyable time at Mousetrap Inn. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice served by a lovely young lady! We ate in the restaurant one evening which was also very good as were the staff. Great location as everything just a walk away would definitely recommend and will return.

Really enjoyed juicy lamb chops with homemade mint sauce and roasted new potatoes. Family enjoyed the special: battered haddock. A little confusion over tables as we arrived (without reservation at 6pm) but decent service overall. Staff tried hard. Good atmosphere. Liked the music and modern decor yet still felt like we were in a local pub.

Didn't actually go inside as sat out the front but it was a lovely sun trap garden, staff were very friendly and the good was incredible. One of the best fish and chips we've had and the sea bass was cooked perfectly. Nice pint of Hawkstone too

Wow! What an incredible find! My partner and I stayed only one night recently but wished our schedule would have allowed for more. The hotel was quaint. Just as pictured. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Honey made it the easiest check in ever. The restaurant was phenomenal. It started with a couple of tasty cocktails. My favorite was the “Trap Door”. If you enjoy gin drinks which are fruity without being too sweet, this is the drink for you. Plus, it comes with a trick! We had the wings as a starter. They were so tender and juicy. The flavor was spot on. We shared the ox cheek and wished we would have each got our own! It was as tender as warm butter. The flavor was robust and absolutely wonderful. The greens were the most tasty I’ve ever had. For dessert we tried the sticky toffee pudding. Again, this place hit a home run! The whole evening was accompanied by a performer playing his guitar and thoroughly enchanting all the patrons. (However, to my understanding, entertainment isn’t usual.) If you are in the area, you will not be disappointed by stopping at this lovely establishment.
