L'anatra Italian Kitchen

We ate at L'anatra last Thursday evening whilst on a four night cottage break in the village. We as a party of three adults and two older children found the menu to be excellent with lots of choice to suit all tastes. I had a chicken supreme dish which I can honestly say is the best dish I've been served in any Italian restaurant I've visited so far in terms of flavour, presentation and value. All of our dish choices were incredible including my daughter's pizza from the childrens menu. The staff are very friendly and the drink offering is also excellent with local beer and whiskey options.

I ordered a takeaway and even though the item I wanted wasn't on their takeaway menu they were so accommodating and made it for me anyway. The staff were very lovely, warm and polite. Quick service! The restaurant has a beautifully rustic charm! My food was very delicious and I felt that it was good value for money. I added fresh rocket to my dish at home. Don't want the photo to be misleading! Would highly recommend it if you're craving authentic Italian food!

Had dinner here on a Saturday evening. Service was 5 star, young man was very efficient & catered to our needs. Food was delicious, carbonara was tasty, pizza hot & plenty of choice of toppings. Chicken supreme was excellent, with fresh vegetables. Only down side was sat near to the bar area with the tv showing sport!

By far the best spaghetti arrabiatta I have tasted in a year!! You can truly feel the freshness of all their locally sourced ingredients right from cheese to tomato’s to even their basil and salad dressing. They have a board describing how all their ingredients are locally sourced within the beautiful Bourton on Water village and the restaurant itself is a quaint cottage with the trappings of the Cotswolds outside. The moment you step inside, it’s a refined aesthetic perfect for a family outing or special occasion. Prices are reasonable and there are a ton of gluten free and vegan options. Amazing service. Would really recommend this place!

This restaurant was recommended to us by friends and we’re not disappointed! 3 of us decided to try it and the food was as good as we have had in Italy or better. We noticed that they were doing tapas at lunch and after enjoying our dinner so much the night before, we had to book for the following day to give the taps a go. They were Fantastico👌the staff seemed to love working there and the service was very attentive too. The best thing about it is that the prices were so affordable.Thanks L’anatra and keep up the good work. We will be back...
