It looked the busiest restaurant of a few we looked at so decided to give it try. Weren’t disappointed. One of the best Calzones I have ever had. Also an amazing wine list that matched the food perfectly.

I ordered a takeaway and even though the item I wanted wasn't on their takeaway menu they were so accommodating and made it for me anyway. The staff were very lovely, warm and polite. Quick service! The restaurant has a beautifully rustic charm! My food was very delicious and I felt that it was good value for money. I added fresh rocket to my dish at home. Don't want the photo to be misleading! Would highly recommend it if you're craving authentic Italian food!

By far the best spaghetti arrabiatta I have tasted in a year!! You can truly feel the freshness of all their locally sourced ingredients right from cheese to tomato’s to even their basil and salad dressing. They have a board describing how all their ingredients are locally sourced within the beautiful Bourton on Water village and the restaurant itself is a quaint cottage with the trappings of the Cotswolds outside. The moment you step inside, it’s a refined aesthetic perfect for a family outing or special occasion. Prices are reasonable and there are a ton of gluten free and vegan options. Amazing service. Would really recommend this place!

What a lovely place to eat! It was a very sunny day and we were so lucky to find a table in the terrace... We walked in at around 12 a.m., and a few minutes later, the terrace was full. We had beef lasagne, carbonara pasta, a side of chips, and a couple of drinks each. Food was exquisite, and the bill wasn't that bad for the atmosphere and the service we had. We paid around £45 for two people. Would be back with no doubt!

This was our first visit to Bourton-on-the-water. Restaurant was closed for an hour before reopening at 5pm. The staff was very welcoming and provided brilliant service. The food was excellent. We made a very good choice to have our dinner at L'anatra. Their high rating speaks true. Well worth the hour wait.

We ate at L'anatra last Thursday evening whilst on a four night cottage break in the village. We as a party of three adults and two older children found the menu to be excellent with lots of choice to suit all tastes. I had a chicken supreme dish which I can honestly say is the best dish I've been served in any Italian restaurant I've visited so far in terms of flavour, presentation and value. All of our dish choices were incredible including my daughter's pizza from the childrens menu. The staff are very friendly and the drink offering is also excellent with local beer and whiskey options.

Lovely decor. Nice food. Good drinks selection. Great champions of local produce and suppliers. Staff were friendly, and accomodating to making small changes to dishes to suit need/preference. Went on a Monday lunchtime, was very quiet and service was speedy. Facilities were clean.

This is a busy tourist area so its good to find a restaurant that provides good service and great food, and prices that are not excessive. The restaurant, part of the Chester House Hotel, serves Italian style cuisine. We enjoyed our prawn starter and sea bass main. The chocolate brownie was a bit dry but accompanying scoop of ice cream helped. Friendly and reasonably quick service. Only one small toilet for each M & F so some waiting likely at busy times.

Found this quaint place while walking around! Lovely service, affordable price with super large portions. Seafood spaghetti and prawns are super delicious. Boyfriend said his steak is cooked to perfection (as you can see in the picture). Although his steak is 6 oz, it came with plenty of sides.
