Great afternoon tea. There was a dash too much vanilla essence in the raisin scones though.

An absolutely beautiful afternoon tea, food was delicious with an amazing view of the lake 😍 the most lovely and attentive staff, with one waiter in particular who was very pleasant and helpful. Love the Belsfiled Hotel- always a wonderful experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We took up a midweek offer to stay here, and we are so glad we did. The hotel is immaculate, set in magnificently tended gardens that meander down to the shore of Lake Windermere with all that has to offer. Then there is the very short walk into Bowness itself with all its shops, cafés and pubs. The hotel is dog friendly with specific rooms that have direct access to the gardens, and we ate in Brasserie together, too. Most pubs in Bowness are also dog friendly to eat and drink too. Hotel staff are welcoming and friendly and showed us around the place on arrival.

Stopped by for a couple of drinks in the bar lounge - what a stunningly beautiful place to overlook the lake. A special shout out to Sean, the hotel porter who is an absolute credit to The Belsfield, so kind and helpful and friendly - genuinely should be treasured for his incredible hospitality.

The hotel is in a superb location. The building is really wonderful. We had a room with an amazing view of the lake, great bathroom and very comfortable bed. Everything would have been great if not for the breakfast. I bet, you could get a better breakfast in any B&B nearby. It was quite disappointing quality for a 4 star hotel. I hope that this can be improved as otherwise we had a lovely stay.

Great location, shame you have put in parking charges as was an unexpected expense. Hotel was incredibly hot 🥵 Staff were all friendly and good facilities. Breakfast was varied although English breakfast wasn’t that big. One day breakfast was swift the other very slow. Great view from the restaurant. Not that I use it but the tv is tiny for the room sizes!

The place was really nice, room was massive. Service was good but there was a few issues bringing us the wrong bottle of wine with dinner, room service not bringing milk with the morning coffee and two pepper grinders but no salt. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Overall a fantastic stay.
