The Quarrymans Arms

Sunday lunch for a family of 5. Absolutely wonderful. We arrived late due to traffic but rang ahead to let the restaurant know. It seems a very popular spot for local walkers and it was good to see the carpark and pub, inside and out, busy with visitors, especially in this current climate. Table ready and set out waiting for us as we arrived. Beautiful views from the dining room and the whole pub had a lovely, cosy, welcoming feel to it. Staff were very attentive and service was great. I've only knocked off a star as I would have preferred more gravy with my lunch but am sure had I asked, I would have been offered additional. Would absolutely recommend.

Love The Quarrymans Arms, great food and drink selection. Lovely clean, tidy, cosy pub nestled in the hills outside Corsham. Great for a quick drink as well as a full on meal. Fabulous views of the surrounding country side. Car parks not massive and can get full at times. There is a bit of parking just up by the green if carpark is full.

Lovely food in a lovely setting. Only quibbles were waitress told us pie was steak and liver which I thought was very unusual but I love liver so chose this option. When it arrived it was steak and kidney (I don’t eat kidney). Waitress said oh well they must have changed it. Also my husband had the chicken burger and upgraded his fries and was told they would add a small addition to the bill for the additional topping. Unfortunately did not check bill until we got home and he had been charged full price for the loaded fries on top of the meal price which included fries anyway. Bit disappointed

A lovely pub in a beautiful setting. The staff were very welcoming. We had water and glasses brought to our table straight away which was a really nice touch. Orders taken in a timely manner but the wait for food was over 30 mins - other tables had their meals brought to them before we had been served ours, even though we had ordered prior to them. (Similar meal). We were given the wrong bill when paying, but this was corrected swiftly. The food was very nice and good quality, so we will come and try again.

The food here is really good!! The beef brisket jacket potato was one of the best meals I've had, especially for a pub. The views here are great and the beer garden is lovely to sit outside and have a drink or two. The beer options are very good as well. We didn't stay here but we would love to and the prices seemed reasonable for how nice they looked.
