The event Boxrocks held here was excellent today. Great people, food and music.

Airb&b stay room 5. Easy to find, parking on site, older building so creaky (ear plugs supplied if that would bother you)
Tv, kettle, sink, wardrobe and double bed for 1 night , the matress was uncomfortable and loud when turning (sprung matress) coped for 1 night, but would struggle any longer.
Overall, sufficient for our needs and the bedding /towels very clean

This is a little gem of a pub. Dean & Damien are lovely and the bar staff are always friendly and welcoming. Great outdoor space and good for a night of music and laughter.
Rooms above the pub have everything you need and best of all they’re very close to the bar!

Our band recorded at Peter Gabriel's studio around the corner in 2019. Dean (Deen?), the bar owner, was the most hospitable person I ever met in my travels abroad. Great conversation, great food, just an amazing overall vibe.
I highly recommend visiting if you find yourself wanting delicious food, great ale, and a pleasant atmosphere.

Popped in with my husband after a day in Bath, which had been very busy as the Christmas market was on.
It was a lovely welcoming pub and they ran around and found me dairy free milk and made me a very nice latte despite being busy as an England football match was on.

proper traditional pub with great views over the green. the staff make you feel very welcome straight away. great choice of seating inside, outside, or somewhere in between in the marquees. my elderly grandad has been coming to this place for years, and when I have gone with him they treat him like royalty and nothing is too much. shame that they stopped serving food as it was delicious but I understand covid changed many things. overall a great pub with lots of and extremely friendly staff and good selection of drinks.

Had my parents come over Friday for celebrate jubilee we watched the fancy dress cricket was brilliant. Then went to queen's head celebrate with drinks and the bands they put on really enjoyed it thanks to all .
