Nice pub, little worn round the edges but warm and welcoming. Nice draft ales available, outdoor area for smokers and nicer weather and dog friendly.

Blinding selection of Ales, almost as good as the reception and service we received. Although quite when we were there, top marks for being a dog friendly pub and if your a dog lover you'll need a very big stick to beat this place. LOVED IT

Great evening for a birthday celebration - very dog friendly, great food and drink, and mein host is a cabaret! But beyond the banter he arranged a special heater to ensure Grandma was warm enough - we'll be back!

My husband and I went here for lunch today. The sun was shining so we decided to eat outside. The eating area was tastefully done with wooden benches which were clean and socially distanced too. We ordered drinks and I had a ploughmans and my husband ordered a prawn sandwich served with fries. The lady serving us was polite and kind and we had a warm welcome. Our food was delicious. Plenty of cheeses on my plate (3) 2 different cheddars and a huge wedge of Brie which was delicious. My husband said his sandwich was bursting with prawns too and the chips were very tasty indeed!! We don't come to this pub very often, but I feel we will be coming back again very soon. Thank you very much to the staff at the Plough & Harrow in Warfield. We had a great time with you.

We had take away fish and chips - a haddock, cod and sea bass - and they were fantastic. So very tasty. A pot of proper tat tar sauce was included with each. Portion sizes were very good. They even me later that evening to make sure the food was ok. Highly recommended and will definitely be doing take away again from them. 👍

Hadn't been for a little while but, went tonight for wife's birthday. Reminded again just how welcoming this pub is. Absolutely great good and service. Love it here.

Lovely country pub with the drinks selection of a city bar. Prices can be high and food is not served until late, but overall a nice alternative to the noisy pubs in the town. With an added bonus that this pub is dog-friendly and serves gluten free ales.

Absolutely love this pub! We’ve been visiting regularly for a good few months now. Clive and the rest of the team are very friendly, Clive is a great laugh and very generous, chatty landlord. They always have at least 2-3 ales on, not just Greene King but local ones too occasionally. Monday evening quiz is highly recommended! The food is very good- all home made to a very high standard. The pub itself is cosy with a fireplace going in the winter. A few benches in the garden. Plenty of car parking. They sell local eggs too. Dog friendly.

Nice pub. Lot's of dogs - love it! Landlord is a hoot. Food is good - they try hard and it shows. The menu changes just about as often as it should, but the speciality pies are always on. Warm, cozy, good for chatting with friends. One downside - probably not the fault of the landlord - sometimes there's too many kids - who always seem to leave chips and peas all over the place. In the summer is nice to sit outside - 3 outdoor seating areas. Got to mention the "parking" spaces reserved for horses.
