Always very good food to be had at the White Horse. Service was pretty good too. The interior is looking a little tired and could do with sprucing up. And I always say this about Taylors pubs. But they don't have any guest beers. And although Taylors beer is nice. It's a little bit play it safe for me. Finally, I'd be happy with the slightly expensive menu if they improved the decor.

The fishnets a deliciousness light batter. The chips are chunky, crispy and filled with fluffy potato.

INCREDIBLE FOOD!!!!…… The best roast beef dinner I have ever had. The beef was incredibly tender and full of flavour. ( Yorkshire puddings were delightfully light and crisp ) served with perfectly cooked vegetables and as for the roast potatoes oh boy!!!…… beautifully presented and served by very friendly staff. A LITTLE GEM OF A PUB FOR A DRINK & OUTSTANDING FOOD! We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

Food was hot and presented very well but 3 out of 4 of the table thought portion sizes could have had a spoon more food. The night we visited it was a quiet evening in between Christmas and the new year but at no point did we feel pushed out.
