Amazing food and great service.
Not many places do homecooked food this good. The seafood pie and prawn Marie rose salad was really good.
Scotch egg is exquisite...best I've ever had.

Went in for the first time yesterday, on recommendation. Absolutely superb 👌. Nice freshly cooked food. And was absolutely fantastic. Proper home cooked chips. The staff were friendly enough. And the price was more than fair. Definitely recommend.

Came here for a family dinner. The staff were very welcoming and attentive even though the place was packed out so booking a table is highly recommend. The food is excellent and despite how busy it was we didn't have yo wait very long either.

A good all rounder for Sunday lunch. I got the chicken roast dinner. From food, service to atmosphere...its all great. Its definitely a family favourite.

If I could give 6 stars for the service, I would. The waiting staff are superb. Their personalities shine through and show that they have been carefully chosen because of their perfect customer skills. 👌 I wish more places would recruit for the right behaviours needed for the role. This is what Disney does, and that is why they create great customer experiences and are so successful. Love this place!

Great lunch with table service and a friendly welcome. A place that really does Home Made food! Seafood pie was excellent & sherry trifle very nice too.
Wide choice of menu and price - even at Christmas. Excellent.

I only called in for a beer while out walking, the place was friendly and the food I saw looked very good. Pretty busy for a Tuesday lunchtime, we'll probably be back to try the food

Extremely good food. And quite a varied choice too.
Extremely pleasant staff. Especially since they are all very young and at varied levels of experience.

Went in for lunch on the off chance whilst working in the area. Had the giant Yorkshire pudding and beef (on the waitress’s recommendation) and a pint of Black Sheep, both really good!!
