Wonderful, an absolute gem discovered in Bradford. The food is incredible, service + waiters are really lovely - although it can get slightly slow. I had a pasta dish which was delicious, well-presented and generously portioned. My partner had the tomahawk steak, and was absolutely thrilled as it was everything he'd been looking for in a steak dish. He hasn't stopped raving about it. The restaurant itself is lovely, beautiful modern decor, clean aesthetics and you can see the chef cooking up a wonderful storm from your seat. Also, do try the chilled drinks; best mojito I've had (non-alcoholic) despite trying many from various places. Was excited to try Marco & Carl as it's the first Halal-only Italian restaurant I've heard about, and it truly did not disappoint. Can't wait to see more branches in more locations!
Located conveniently with an entertainment complex so ample parking available. Starters were really nice. Burgers were very good also. The "Dark Force" burger was very messy but tasted nice. Plenty of seating. Service could have been a little better. Overall a nice experience.
A quiet restaurant, perfect for a business dinner. The food is pretty good except the burgers which seem to be frozen and then cooked on a grill. I would have expected better quality for beef burgers. But apart from that, the other dishes that I have tasted are okay and the decoration is also nice.
The steak was cooked to perfection with yummy burgers too - also a desert selection that was brilliant! The staff were warm and engaging but not overly so, they really did make the whole experience enjoyable and I have already booked my return. A welcome steakhouse in bradford which is decent, with chefs who know how to cook good food and isn't a takeaway or something trying to be posh! Definitely worth a try!

It never stuck to us that this restaurant would be Halal given its name! But to our surprise, we found out not only was it Halal, it was HMC approved!
Marco & Carl is located within the Bradford Leisure Exchange. They specialise in Stone Baked Pizzas, Freshly Prepared Pastas, Matured Steaks and Hand Crafted Burgers. They claim to use the freshest ingredients available to create traditional Italian dishes with a modern twist.
We have tried a number of items they offer on the menu on the two occasions we have visited.
A range of the wings they offer for starters. You can request a combination of flavours if you like. However, the Carl’s Secret Sauce Wings were bursting with sweet flavours which was a little too sweet for our liking. The other wing flavours were nice.
Houmous and Tzetziki Meze. This was served hot and fresh and tasted yummy.
Double Decker Burger where you can choose Double Beef or Chicken or try one each of Beef and Chicken, served with Burger Mayo, Salad, Cheese, Relish & Gherkins and Chips. It was nice but the Chicken patty was a processed patty, rather than fresh chicken which was disappointing.
Chicken Espetada Tender Cubed Chicken Breast skewered with Peppers served with salad, a choice of Sauce and a Side. Choose from Gombero, Capritto, Creamy Mushroom, Peppercorn, Gazebo sauces and Chips or Spicy Rice for the sides.
Meat Fire House Stone Baked Pizza. The pizza is freshly prepared using the finest Italian ingredients. It is cooked in a wood fired oven and topped with beef steak, chicken, mozzarella, roasted peppers, green chillies, crushed chillies. Didn’t really enjoy this pizza as it wasn’t tasty at all! Not enough tomato or cheese and had a very thin base.
Pesto Vegetarian, this is penne pasta in a creamy pesto sauce with roquito, spring onion, sweet corn and roasted peppers. The pasta would’ve been very tasty if hot!
Please be aware, since our last visit, the Bradford branch HMC certification has been revoked. 🤔
Unfortunately on our second trip, we were let down by the food quality and service.

Restaurant was very nice, service was good, food was good. I had the Sirloin steak which was cooked just the way I ordered it. The wife had a slow cooked pulled beef burger which she enjoyed. It would've been 5 stars if the prices were better. The steak was £20 and all I got was a small basket of chips and salad with it. I had to order the pepper sauce separately. All in all a great experience bar the price.
This is a classy place. Great food presented beautifully with extremely friendly staff. A clean and highly recommended establishment.
5 stars for food as usual however was not impressed with the service of breakfast. Handful of customers early morning, slacked on service. Breakfast was amazing. Would give the Chai a miss though.
The food is amazing! Beautifully cooked with complimenting flavours and drinks. The desserts are heavenly. The staff are extremely polite, helpful and approachable. Highly recommend this for date night, family meals and just casual meals
Food is good, drinks are very nice but don't get the Cool Breeze, it's basically bitter orange juice with a hint of mango. Service was very good but the wait for the mains was slightly longer than expected. Portion size is nice but the meat in the burgers is quite small compared to the bread size.
