Ancient Foresters

Went here for lunch with a work colleague and a person who was being supported. My colleague and I chose to eat from the "2 meals for £10.99" all day every day offer. He had a curry with rice and poppadoms and I had hunters chicken with chips, 3 onion rings, coleslaw and side salad. An alcohol free strawberry and lime cider was £4 and a glass of coke £2.40. Was pleasantly surprised with the meals and we both enjoyed them. The person who we were supporting wanted a burger and chose from the "Build a burger" menu. He picked the double burger pictured on the menu, which I think was topped off with fried onions, bacon and cheese in a brioche roll, this came with chips, onion rings and salad. Apart from the burger bun falling apart in his hands, and dropping some of the burger on the floor, he said he liked it and wants to return another day. I would recommend the Ancient Foresters to others, food was good, reasonably priced and staff friendly.
