Status Fisheries

I have been eating from status fisheries for a long, LONG time. Back when they only did fish and chips and donner kebab. That's it lol. So I know this place very well. Around about 4-5 years ago, me and my family stopped ordering from status. Their food wasn't fresh, it wasn't prepared well and the quality just dropped overall. We were upset because status had been our go-to spot for decades. But we just couldn't hack it any more. This year, during ramadan, every place was busy. There was a 2 hour wait and for some reason, I gave status fisheries a call. My mum wasn't happy, let me tell you that. She said she didn't want to get food poisoning, especially in ramadan 😂. Anyways, I took the risk and placed an order. The food arrived 5 minutes before iftari, and let me tell you, I was in for a huge, HUGE surprise. I ordered quite an array of items as there were around 8 of us and we were starving. The fish and chips were piping hot! The fish was coated in a thin, golden batter that was crispy and satisfyingly crunchy. The chips were thick, soft and cooked to perfection. Proper chippy chips. The donner was blazing hot, fresh, as though they had just sliced it. Nice LONG strips of donner with the classic status fisheries taste. Combined with chips, salad and the OG mint/green chilli sauce, I felt like I was in 1999 again. The cheese burgers were all fresh, came in a massive portion with a huge amount of chips. The fried chicken was crispy, juicy and packed with flavour. And even the pizza was nice. The last time we tried their pizza, we hated it. It tasted like it was made out of foam and lego lol but this time... This time it was totally different. We orderd a simple margherita. It had a nice, healthy amount of pizza sauce on top of a soft, pillowy base and lots of cheese to top it off. Simple pizza, done perfectly well. Every item we ordered, was fresh and absolutely delicious. A stark contrast to the last time we ordered. Ever since ramadan, we have ordered at least another 5 times. It never disappoints. So it couldn't have been a fluke right? 5 separate orders, fresh, hot and delicious food every time. I don't know whether you have changed owners, employed new staff, or what. But whatever you're doing status fisheries, keep on doing it. My whole family now believes that you have turned over a new leaf and honestly, there's not a single thing I can complain about. Food is fresh and tasty, and the prices are very reasonable too. I believe status fisheries is back. Keep it up guys, stick with these standards and you'll get us coming back again and again, and probably many new customers too, insha'allah. I'll add more pictures if I remember to take them. We just usually dive right in.

Even though its 5 stars this place is 10/10 for me I am reminiscent of the old days where on school lunches (6 form at a local school) we used to trot up to Status Fisheries and get a donner kebab or a burger meal or a fish butty. Great people. At one point I was addicted to their fish butty special which was like a huge Fillet O Fish due to the tartar sauce. Highly recommended place good sized portions too!!

I Buy From These Guys 5 Times A Week. And They Food Is Nice And Hot. Very Friendly Drivers Who Drop Food Off. Food Is Very Tasty And They Give Good Size Potions. Good Prices, Fish And Chips Are Class A. Nice And Fresh.The Best We Have Tried. As We Have Tried From Alot Of Take Aways In Bradford. If You Havant Tried They Fish And Chips And Donner Meat Give It A Try You Will Love It. Thankyou For Your Services Even In Snow.
