It was brilliant, staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Lovely Geordie chef behind the meat but reminded me of home and was amazing with my kids, the other chef also helped my little girl without being asked.
Staff were really quick to tidy up, handled it getting busy really well. Everything was clean and easy to find. Manager behind the bar was incredibly friendly too and was from near me! Brill place.

STEVE WAS AMAZING, incredibly attentive and such a lovely man. He goes above and beyond for the customers and he needs a pay rise. Food was great also!
To improve on would be that there was no staff on the floor when we got there, then one of the ladies came out eating food.

food was hot and tasty, server on carvery was very friendly engaging with customer about their day. Mia the bartender was amazing, working solo on the bar at such a busy time, she remained pleasant and friendly delivering excellent customer service and although busy she remained calm at all times. Truly a asset to the establishment and needs to be appreciated.

It's a really good place for a roast. Steve, I think, is a great asset to this branch; very friendly and welcoming.
My only complaint is that if you order something off of the menu, such as a dessert, it takes a really long time to come and that's even if the carvery is empty!
Other than that, it's worth a visit.

We had no issues whatsoever whilst we were there, all staff were so polite. Special mention to the chef serving the carvery, he was extremely polite, smile on his face, making conversation with every customer, asking how our day was going etc. What a lovely young man! He deserves a special mention, he made our day he was lovely, I even said to my daughter when we went to sit down what a lovely young man.

We went at 2.30pm and had two courses for £9.99!!! Absolute bargain!!! The carvery was tasty and the meat wasn't dried out which was great, there was a great veg selection and the gravy was nice too. I had crumble for pudding which was nice but the crumble hadn't browned so could have done with been in abit longer. Staff were attentive and polite, they could do with some extra staff behind the bar and serving as there was quite abit of a wait. The pub itself is in desperate need of updating. It looks dirty even though it's not. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and will definitely go back😊

Good food. Staff were very friendly. We came near closing time and I did not expect they would bring out a new beef when I wanted some in the carvery. Very happy and will definitely come back when in the area again.

Stevo was our carver and he was lovely. He was funny and nice and had some banter with us which was great.
Troy was our server he was very polite and helpful.
The food was good and we enjoyed everything we had.

Me and my partner came here and we had such a lovely time. The food was lovely, staff were so helpful from the moment we walked in.
The chef carving the meat was so welcoming and friendly, he really did the place proud and helped with the amazing experience we had here.
