Gp Restaurant

Many thanks to Ambala, I have fallen in love with take aways once again. I used Ambala many years ago, after some time away from eating out I was initially afraid that my generation of chefs had not only retired but the next generation wanting to make their own way rather than listen to the tradition and expertise handed down to them Some get it right, many don't and I have seen well established venues go rapidly down hill I needn't have worried, the food was very good Ambala set a high standard as they always have and the care and attention is clearly evident Ambala feels so much more than just a meal/take away making the experience more like a special occasion

Initially, I thought it was a small Ambala shop, but it turns out it's also a restaurant with further space on the side for people wanting to sit and eat. I ordered various Asian sweets and felt welcomed by the staff member taking my order. We really enjoyed the sweets and the tres leche cake was yum!! The Asian sweets were on par :)

Got delivery through Uber eats Ordered Karahi Murgh (chicken) cannot fault the taste and portion size or the amount of chicken there was enough for 2 of us to share it tasted lovely non left over it is one of the nicest I have had in a long time the chapatti were warm on arrival and tasted good too The only thing that let the food down was having to order all the chapatti separately as non are included with the Karahi which is a shame as other places include 3 the cost adds up when ordering them separately this is the only thing that let it down and why I gave 4 stars instead of 5
