German Doner Kebab - Bradford

I have been here a couple of times and I think it's pretty good. The staff are friendly and the food comes out relatively quick. I always get the original kebab and it's always good eating. That said, you only get a tiny tub of sauce - Either chilli sauce or yoghurt which is usually not enough for your portion of chips. The kebabs themselves usually need extra sauce, too, which is a bit of a dilemma. This usually isn't a problem at other eateries but here they charge 40p per tiny tub extra.

I've been wanting a GDK for some time now and rarely have the opportunity so was excited to finally try their Coco kebab (meal)! The only negative points were A) slightly pricey, and B) the lady on the till kind of assumed we knew what we were talking about, and by that I mean the whole GDK experience was new to us and some of the meal options could have done with explaining, she spoke very fast so I felt a bit awkward keep having to ask her to repeat herself. But anyway, not a big issue, staff were generally friendly etc. Anyway, onto the important part - I ordered a coco kebab with flamin' fries and a Coke zero. The kebab was amazing, firm, fluffy coconutty bread filled with fresh salad and of course lamb doner, which was some of the tastiest I've ever had. Certainly miles above what you'd get in your average local takeaway. Sauces were great, and the fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle with plenty of spice - perfect! The meal cost £9 something, so certainly not an every day thing, but great as a treat. I'll certainly return if I get the chance and try one of their other quirky kebabs!

This was our first experience here, we don't often venture into Bradford city centre. We had lunch in the shopping centre next to here and stumbled across this place a little while after and loved the idea of Doner meat. We got the Dorito Chicken burgers and Nacho with mix of doner, chicken and beef. Had such a great time. We'd definitely come back again. Really tasty and great atmosphere. We loved the decor and staff were friendly. Prices were also good. What a nice little place to discover.
