Old historical building. Looks like a good range of beers including local cask options. They do tea and coffee. Plenty of outdoor seating areas.

Staff are very friendly! We had a walk this morning & got there for when it opened. Food was great & have a variety of ciders/beers/ales. Prices are also reasonable! £12 for a pint of Lilleys cider, a pint of Coors & pint of coke. We also had a BLT which came to £5 (but can upgrade and have chips for an extra £2) The staff were also great with our dogs too & gave them a little beefy treat.

This Inn has a very warm welcome from staff. The atmosphere is family @ dog friendly all chatty with good music vibes. Reasonable priced hot and cold beverages and enjoyed my beef Sunday lunch with sticky toffee pud for £12. Well worth giving a tip for. My friend also loved 😍😁

Lovely atmospheric pub on Christmas day morning. A great merry Christmas greeting at the bar welcomed us as we first walked in!

A very nice pleasing olde world pub lots of wonderful features and a nice menu to choose from from. Would recommend after a nice stroll along the canal towpath taking in the lovely scenery, plenty of ales and spirits available and prices were great especially for the two courses Sunday special £24 for two people

Honestly wasn't expecting much from this pub when I walked up to it on a damp windy Nov evening... How wrong was I! The landlord was very welcoming, the pub was warm and spacious, and lots of conversation going on. The drinks were well priced and a decent selection, even a drink and treat for my woof. There wasn't food on the Wednesday night that we visited, but we got takeout after we had our fill!

Cosy, friendly atmosphere and good honest grub! Lovely for a post-walk pop-in or for a Sunday lunch.

This is how pubs were when I was a kid! Good selection of beers and thankfully darker beers available rather than just the in vogue, hoppy/fuity IPAs which are over running British beer at the minute... Went in with our 10 month old baby and the landlord came over to the table with some toys for him which was very much appreciated and a nice touch. Definitely will be back!

Good food for a very reasonable price. For pub grub this was proper nice, nothing frozen here, pie and burger were both clearly home made and delicious.

Not been in here for a while but glad to report it's still a great and friendly pub with a good selection of real ales and craft beer, Beavertown and Madri were two of the ones available. I won't leave it as long to return this time.
