The pub itself is a little run down but the restaurant part (Shankeys) was very good and the Nepalese food was good with a mix of spice levels and flavours. Great lassi too.

As a member of Bramley curry club we went to Bramley Inn, Spice room to taste their food.
Here is my personal review. Interior of the restaurant is better than last time I been there ages ago. Staff were friendly they managed well as we were 12 of us. Food came to our table little longer then expected as we were a big group.
Now food, presentation was good. All the food we order were good to taste. Food portion was good except Samosa chat. Cheff could have add bit of sev+ and other stuff to make it proper chat+ would be right portion according to the price + fresh corrinder leaf sprinkle for a great taste. Didn't see any pudding option. there might be but I probably didn't noticed. We ordered a bit of Chinese as well but Chinese options were very minimum..
We recommend the place and food. Love to visit again.

Brilliant pub! Stella Artois was exquisite, barmen were bundah lengers as always, and I only cried in the bath for 5 hours after! Which is a great improvement from the previous 18 before! Shall be coming here again! 3/10 for lack of osu!catchthebeat

Loved the time with family and friends..
Food was amazing and the staffs were very very helpful.. very affordable and one of the most authentic Indian food I've had.. A MUST!

Just had our first Indian takeaway since they've reopened and were very pleasantly surprised as it wasn't too good when we last ordered (a year or 2 ago)
- Garlic Naan: mega 'garlicky' and delicious
- Veggie samosa: looked like it meant business and didn't disappoint!
- Chicken Tikka Masala: hotter than I'm used to from other takeaways, with a thinner sauce but it was absolutely yummy.
Chicken Vindaloo: husband said it was one of the hottest vindaloos he's ever had but it was full of flavour and really delicious.
We were both really impressed and satisfied with our meal and will 100% return 👍🏼

I was with the midnight rebel band on Saturday & went to the bar to get some drinks I couldn’t carry all of them at once
A lovely barman David offered to help me carry the drinks to our seat very good customer service indeed

Very friendly and welcoming pub, perfect for a tired walker and her doggy having a swift half before catching the train home. Doggy in particular was very impressed with the dog treats he received.
