This was a delightful meal.I loved the burger… succulent and flavoursome! The texture of the chips was ideal, a wonderful balance of soft and crunchy. The onion rings were great. I particularly liked the presentation of the food going the extra mile which added to the overall experience. Excellent customer service and I really enjoyed being here. Thank you.

A group of 9 of us stayed for a meal and we were all very happy with our food. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food all came out after a short wait but was all together and was hot. There was one error with one of the meals but it was rectified very quickly. I had the vegetarian option (mushroom Wellington) and it was excellent. Not a very wide selection of ales but there are 3 largers that I could see, quite a big list of wines as well as cocktails. We would definitely go back. Hand sanitiser at the entrance but other then that it's all back to pre-covid conditions. A comfortable, warm and friendly environment.

Me and my partner had an exceptional Valentine's Day meal in the evening on 14th Feb, when I originally rang to book it they said they were unsure about doing a Valentine's Day special with the amount of times they've had to shut and reopen in the lockdowns but when we walked in after the booking on the phone it was a really nice surprise to see inside decorations in red for Valentine's Day and we were very impressed with the staff and quality of the food given to us. If anyone does think about going out for a Valentine's Day meal in Brecon, I would definitely recommend The Bank pub on the corner before the museum at the front end of the town.
