Bur Bun

Burger bar. Smash burger was still pretty thick. Bun was delicious. Excellent sliced tomotoes on the burger. Mustard had been sitting for so long it had separated and had a ton of water on top in container on table. Great bar and local IPA beer and domestic beer. Glass was not chilled and can could have been colder. Our server was great! Pleasant environment except for several families with small loud whining children at the time of night we arrived due to overnight travel stay. They seated us all very close together which was unnecessary. Small restaurant but at this time of night there could have been some distance between the other families dining. Our table was clean and spacious. Our server communicated well and she was perfectly attentive. This restaurant is inside the Hilton Suites hotel which is nice. The nachos were very good! There was a sirloin steak on the menu. My son said the grilled cheese was delicious. The shoestring fries were thicker than Steak-n-Shake fries but very good! Great salads!

Nice looking venue and bar as well as extremely convenient while staying at the Brentwood Hilton. Was typically busy for a Friday night and looked to be understaffed. The employees were nice but spread too thin helping all the guests. Looking at their menu it’s evident that burgers seem to be the specialty so that’s what was ordered. Unfortunately they were somewhat dry and nothing too special which was a little disappointing considering the location and atmosphere. I have no real idea or proof but our waiter could also be the cook, surely not right but it was taking a long time and he seemed to be sweating more than just simply waiting on tables. Overall not a bad experience just not up to par with the feel of the place being a little higher end.

I've had several burgers at bur bun and all have been fantastic. The Jezebel and the PB&J are my favorites. The Jezebel is topped with a slab of cream cheese, an onion ring, and pepper jelly. The PB&J is topped with pork belly, bacon jam, and sorghum maple syrup. bur bun has a great selection of whiskeys and bourbon. Come for a drink and stay for the burgers!
