First time here, had lunch on a Sunday. I had the bbq beef sub with chips. Food was good and came out fast. The restaurant is setup to order at the counter and then they bring you your food.
For those that have been around the area the inside is almost exactly like the former restaurant in the same location.

Food was okay and I think they had free ice cream. Cashier that took my order was very rude and impatient, I asked how the eggs were cooked on the breakfast sandwich and she was very sarcastic and seemed annoyed with my simple question. Wish I had gotten her name. Let's just say there was obvious writing on the wall that said "Make breakfast great again", a large crowd of old white men and Fox News on the tv.

My fiance, his mother and I are here on vacation and went here for breakfast. I just stated last night how service down here is true southern hospitality. We come here for breakfast and I was wrong. I have never experienced such awkward and rude service. We will never come back the next time on vacation. The woman running the register came off as impatient and didnt explain anything as how the way it works since it's more like cafeteria style. I have never been to a "cafe" that was ran like this. We had to laugh at the menu because the bottem right hand corner states how much they love their business and pray their customers feel weIcomed. We felt the TOTAL opposite. I have no idea how this place is still in business with her dry personality!

My wife and I were on a day trip to the Nashville area and made a special trip to Brentwood to have lunch at Farmland Cafe. We went there based on the recommendation of a talented Nashville YouTube content creator who has promoted and even helped to facilitate donations to the restaurant during COVID-19 by selling t-shirts. I would like to tell you what I thought of the food, but I can’t because I was rudely turned away as soon as I approached the counter. We arrived at 11:40am to find a sign on the door stating that they were closing at 12:30pm instead of their listed 2pm (no note on their website). We walked in and got in line behind 4 other people at the counter. The restaurant was about 1/2 full with people at tables. Just as we were looking up at the menu, the woman at the counter stopped taking the order of the people in front of us to rudely bark at us, “We’re only doing takeout”, and then continued taking their order. No apology or explanation for the sudden change in business hours. No “have a nice day” when my wife and I looked at each other and then walked out the door. Pretty big disconnect with the Christian values proclaimed on their website. Whatever caused them to close early and caused the rude attitude of the woman at the counter, I hope things get better for them…but I won’t be back.

A few things -
1. The pancakes are the best I've had in at least a decade, maybe longer. I legitimately can't remember the last time I had pancakes as good as those at Farmland. I love to eat and as much as I loved them, I couldn't finish the short stack.
2. The sausage has a great taste and the bacon is thick and really good. That's a welcome change from places that serve thin bacon slices.
3. The service is great and with a smile. They are genuinely happy to see you.
4. They support first responders, which is refreshing in today's environment.
I HIGHLY recommend Farmland Cafe and look forward to many meals (and pancakes!) there.

Nice breakfast place with huge portions. I had an omelette and my son had chocolate chip pancakes. The pancakes were very good. The omelette was good, but nothing to go crazy over. Overall a nice friendly place.

We got there at 1:30 and I realize they close at 2 but the nice young lady at the front register said not to worry about it and take our time. I ordered a hamburger and it was very good except it was $11 and it was just a hamburger so with hash browns and iced tea my lunch was almost $20. My business partner and I tried to eat quickly but did have a lot to talk about and at 15 minutes after 2 a lady came and told us they were closed and we had to get out. There was another couple there and they were told the same thing. In front of the restaurant we both agreed that that was incredibly rude, as they were just cleaning up and we were almost finished. I won't be back.

Just went in for a simple breakfast bacon eggs hash browns and a biscuit and a orange juice $14 the biscuit was almost warm the bacon was just sitting out and it was only two pieces didn't really feel as welcome when I walked in and as I was eating. It looked really nice until I seen the Stalls and the floor disgusting. maybe this was a bad day for them but if this is the norm I do not recommend this place to anyone.
