We placed an order for delivery via Deliveroo. Our order arrived within the time stated. Most of what we ordered arrived, except 2 fresh fruit salads. In the bag were two cards apologising that they were not available and asking us to call in store with the cards and have a free coffee. A very nice touch, just an apology was nice. Food was really tasty as we're the drinks and I'm very fussy. Our hot food and drinks were in one bag and cold in another. Not our first delivery from here and will certainly not be our last. When I have visited, not since before Covid lockdown, I have always found staff to be extremely helpful and willing to do what they can to make your drink exactly how you like it ie strength etc. I'm in a wheelchair if I'm with my carer at the till they will always offer to carry our tray to our table. Staff and other customers always open the doors for us if they see us approaching.
Went there to try the caramel speciality which is vanilla sauce, caramel sauce latte.
Was really tasty and the staff were exceptionally friendly.
Very clean place and a lovely christmas vibe.
Nice and warm inside with comfy seating.
However the only one point I would like to add is, from observation I could see they are slightly under staffed and the wait time is roughly 10 minutes for a drink.
I come too this coffee shop most days with my Dog Crumpet. We like to sit in the window seats. Staff are lovely and help to make it a nice experience x
Caffe Nero Brentwood is my favourite coffee shop in town. The staff are all lovely and excellently skilled baristas. The staff are all personable, especially Jo, she always asks to see pictures of my cat.
Caffè Nero is my favourite of the chain coffee shops. Their coffee is good and their pistachio lattes are delicious
Overall I have a positive experience at Caffè Néro Brentwood. Occasionally, like today, they do not really listen and do not give me what I ask for… also I tried to give the young woman change so as to get a round £5 back, but she either didn’t want to or couldn’t work out how much was due me back… it was annoying really and now I have a wallet full of more change…
While not my first choice (and I have no idea why) there is something less formal, less formulaic than the other coffee shop offers in Brentwood, the different furnishings of course help, but the area seems much more relaxed, more socially orientated than the likes of Costa and Starbucks. If your coming here to work or read on your phone etc the signal to the networks is clear, in the aforementioned coffee houses you can’t get signal in the majority of the building, here you can.
Staff are nice, the range of drinks is good.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Always go the extra mile to help.
The best coffee shop not just in Brentwood but I’d rather travel there all the way from Hornchurch. The staff is simply the best team of girls and boys in Essex and Havering. They serve 3 customers in one go working in unison. The manager is always bubbly and kind to the elderly and cleans tables whilst rushing back and forth.
Dogs are allowed and this makes for the most calm and relaxing coffee shop near and far with customers on laptops catching up with work as well.
They’ve recently added a young man to the team who has straightaway adopted the managers ethos.
Girls and Boys…thanks for making my coffee time all thr better with your service! 💗
Lovely caramel crisp slice. Strange coffee situation though. I asked for "a small Americano, strong with not much water please." I got a large weak cup of something so weak that it tasted like dishwater. They changed it after I tasted it to a double espresso, something simple. But I just can't fathom how they managed to give me the outright opposite of what I asked for. Sometimes I wonder if I LOOK like an alien... Anyway, espresso was nice, as usual.
