What a lovely, traditional village pub. Great atmosphere with warming central open fire and historic stone walls. Fabulous, plentiful pub food with friendly staff. Can’t ask for a better village pub.Looking forward to our next visit
Had a Sunday lunch here this afternoon at 3pm for a treat and it was lovely. If you’re looking for homemade Sunday roast, cooked like ‘nanna used to make it’ - this is for you! Proper pub atmosphere, the open wood fire burning, with every table taken (so booking is advisable!) good prices and such great staff!
Under new management so decided to book for Sunday lunch. Manager and staff were very accommodating. Very friendly and helpful staff who made sure we had all our needs met. The food was piping hot and plentiful. Will definitely go back
