Made a reservation for 11 of us after a football game this evening and Joypur were happy to have us.
We started the night with a couple of poppadums and pickle which went down a treat along with the beerios we had taken with us as it is a bring your own alcohol.
Starters brought out a selection for the team, including a mixed kebab (pictured) and chicken pakoras which received raving reviews throughout the group.
Everyone for mains went with forms of curry, myself choosing, shock, a lamb bhuna, chips, onion fried rice and a keema naan. A clean plate for everyone followed even though portion sizes were bigger than anticipated, and I must say the onion fried rice stole the show! Wow!
A group of friendly staff members, relatively quick food service and a nice environment makes for a quality Indian… and this has all of the above!
The only draw backs is the decor is dated but, who cares?
The atmosphere is only marked down as we went on a very quiet Thursday evening. The food was very good and the staff couldn't do enough. It is a BYOB place but they are more than happy to supply glasses & bottle openers etc.
Had the Monday night special menu, the food was amazing and excellent quality, the staff are friendly and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere
Food was nice. Did not realise they don't have an alcohol licence so if you want a lager with your curry, you have to bring your own.
Excellent in every way. Have been coming here for years. What sets it apart from so many similar businesses is that it doesn't keep putting its prices up and accepts card payments. Just about perfect.
Eat based upon reviews, one of the best curry’s we’ve had in a while.

Just had Monday deal. . fantastic . Hot and tasty delivery on time. Perfect. Chicken best yet. So tender. Thank you joypur. Keep up good work. . negative reviews need to try again . This place seems to have improved . Perhaps by getting rid of slow delivery persons is a start. Great experience .
