What a beautiful place for my surprise birthday afternoon tea. They pulled all the stops out and decorated our table and had a balloon. The afternoon was amazing, all freshly made and very filling. Highly recommend this place and will definitely come back next time we are in the area to try something from their menu. The staff are so lovely and helpful. Thank you so much x
Afternoon Tea for Two.
A wide choice of food and a large enough tea pot for 3 cups each.
The location is excellent and the interior is brightly lit.
Towards the rear was a selection of bath bombs and gifts.
There's also an antique shop upstairs, which we didn't look around today.
The staff were all very friendly and cheerful.
Parking is a bit tricky and booking is essential. They were having to turn customers away while we were there.
The Antique centre, above the Georgian Tea Rooms, has recently changed owners. Ian and Helen are lovely and very welcoming with a good sense of humour and a passion for all things Antique and Vintage.
There's a wide range of collectable items that suits all ages with a Vintage room upstairs full of old games, books, dolls and Teddys. There are plenty of cabinets full of jewellery, watches, Vintage curios, glassware, militaria, silver and gold statement pieces. Outside there are sheds full of Antique and vintage furniture; everything for everyone.
You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend. Wheelchair access.
Excellent lunch for our family of 10! The ladies were very friendly and went above and beyond with our food. Everything was delicious, warm and freshly made.
The antiques to look at as well was an added bonus to look round too. I'd thoroughly recommend.
Lovely scones. Me and my husband went in gorgeous tea coke and scones. As ever the staff are friendly. The food good and the gardens are beautiful. Craft fair going on there today. We enjoyed a walk round and a chat with the stall holders. Atmosphere was great!
We all had a Vegan afternoon tea..excellent selection of soup, sandwiches, sausage rolls, cakes and scones with jam!! So much food we took half of it home for supper, really really delicious, would definitely recommend x x

Randomly stopped by for an impromptu lunch. We were looking for a full English or something similar, but the toasted sandwiches we had (Ham cheese and red onion for one, chicken chorizo and cheese for the other) were incredibly tasty. they both came with salad, potato salad, slaw and crisps! Slaw and potato salad home made and lovely.
Plenty of food there, almost didn't have room for scones or any of the home made cakes/cheesecakes etc!
Cheesecake was 10/10 and the scones were surprisingly light instead of stodgier fare you might get further south!
Service was impeccable, even got an extra scone because in her words, "it was a bit small so I gave you two."
A lovely surprise, definitely visit old town for this gem.
Very friendly and happy atmosphere. Excellent afternoon teas. Fascinating treasure trove of antiques, memorabilia, china, (very affordable) on upper floors of house; this will take you down memory lane. I found my old doll there and a William Morris plate. Would have bought more but my car was full. You can eat outside in the garden in the sunshine. Very quaint and homely. Simply lovely.
Absolutely fantastic breakfast, if your lucky enough to visit on a sunny day I recommend sitting in the beautiful gardens. A definite to try if visiting Old Town Bridlington or worth a visit to Old Town Bridlington just to try this tasty well presented breakfast with locally sourced ingredients.
A gorgeous little cafe with a fabulous garden. The cake and fruit scone were delicious. Friendly staff and excellent service. Wandering around the antiques was a lovely way to spend the afternoon. Well worth the visit.
