We came here on a Saturday afternoon to take advantage of a Christmas present. We had to pre-book afternoon tea and on arrival were taken to special area of the cafe. Each table was beautifully laid put with cups, saucers and plates ready for drinks and food to be brought to our table. Having chosen a window seat, we enjoyed a little bit of the spring sun while waiting. Tea was served first followed by sandwiches, cakes and scones. The sandwich selection included ham, egg and cress and cucumber accompanied by salad and cheese straws. Once finished we made short work of the lemon drizzle cake, cream meringue and lemon curd tart, quickly followed by a jam and cream fruit scone. Simply delicious! Not our usual Saturday food, but worth a visit for a treat. Lovely food, pleasant and helpful staff and a clean, bright well maintained restaurant. Been to the other cafe previously but not to this one. We will be back to sample more
Excellent food and service. Would definitely recommend.
Only visited the Christmas section but it has some nice displays and good variety of decorations.
Really enjoyed. Well worth a visit. Good for old and young alike. Easily spend a whole day there. Only downside is quite expensive if not member of National Trust. I was treated by a member. Thank you for lovely day.
Really nice garden centre full to rafters with lots of different goods, cards, potteries, tea pots, stationery, gardening wares as well as seasonal plants, shrubs and everything gardening. Garden cafe very good also. Beautiful food at readonable priced had a wonderful quiche salad with coleslaw and beetroot chutney. Definitely will return .
What a lovely garden centre. Loads and loads of great products to browse and it feels like the floor area just keeps going and going. There are also 2 café areas; one near the front and a bigger one further to the back. In truth, we didn't give ourselves enough time to see everything and will definitely be going back in the future. Oh and we bought a few plants as well 😂
Popped in to this garden centre after going to Bridlington and glad we did the restaurant was so beautiful and the good the vest we have had in a long time. Wasn't expecting this top class good in a garden centre. Better than some top restaurants. Varied menu lots on offer from quick panning yofull hot menu
We use this garden centre regularly and so we decided to go there for afternoon tea on my Birthday today.
The tables are made to look so pretty with white tablecloths and colourful china. The service is excellent and our drinks were refreshed when we needed it. The food is plentiful and delicious. We brought home more than we ate!
What is nice is apart from the traditional one there is a savoury version. I highly recommend it.
The staff are wonderful. My wife has Alzheimer's Disease and she loves going for a coffee and cake (and a chat). I'm so grateful that everyone is so lovely here. Thank you x
One of my favourite garden centres - such a good selection of outdoor plants, houseplants, homewares, and they even have a wonderful bakery section which does THE BEST sausage rolls and cakes! Definitely worth a visit.
We absolutely love to go most weeks for a cappuccino and a scone the Christmas decorations are beautiful.
Always come here to eat, buy cakes and come away with gifts. We even have a loyalty card and we live 4 hours away but stay near Bridlington regularly!
