Don’t know what the bad reviews are about to be honest! We dined in at 6pm on a Tuesday evening. We walked in and just another 2 people in there who were celebrating a birthday to which the staff sang & brought out cake which was lovely. The staff, which we only saw 2, was lovely & helpful. I think we was the last customers of the night as no-one else came in while we was there & we was the only ones eating after the others had left. With this is mind we wasn’t rushed or made to feel unwelcome. The food was lovely, the price is higher than average fish & chip restaurant, however, the size of fish justifies the price, very big fish & decent size portion of chips. Overall, not a bad restaurant.

This was a recommendation from YouTube and it didn't disappoint. It was very quiet when we went in but it was early evening around 5pm. We had various dishes from fish, chips and curry sauce to pie, nuggets and beans, so we tried a variety of items on the menu and all were very nice. I'd definitely recommend coming off the front to head here to get great food and service and be able to sit inside to eat on cooler days.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced and above average quality – the only thing I might fault was excessive batter. Certainly the haddock inside was very delicious. It's in a very central location and probably relies on some tourist trade so it was nice to see high standards when they may not get repeat business from people walking through the door. A well fed family of four left with full tummies & smiles on their faces.
