I had an ambition to visit here for ages, when I got there my jaw dropped, at the cafe I was asked if I would like to come back at later time and when I explained I had come from Ireland especially I was seated straight away. The staff were singing their heads off to the music which added to the atmosphere of the place, the hot chocolate was proper hit chocolate, if I was coming again I would only get the cake or h/C not both, I couldn't finish both. Overall a very nice experience.
One of a kind chocolate shop in Brighton! This place is a mausoleum of chocolate! You can find it in every shape and taste! I couldn’t resist to the gianduia dark chocolate bar with toasted hazelnuts (~15£). It’s so good! Upstairs there is a very unique bar for a chocolate break!

We visited for my Mum's birthday for the decadent garden chocolate experience. As usual, the staff were a delight but we found the experience less generous than last time - we had less chocolate between three of us than we did between two of us last year. Still a lovely treat and took home all of the cake - just a shame this was not covered in the famous choccy chocolate. No complimentary tea this time either. The shop is still lively but was lacking stock- massively gutted to hear they no longer make white chocolate rocky road! The gentleman at the till very kindly ordered me some milk chocolate rocky road but the slab has increased from £25 to £36 which is a big hike!! Happy to support a local business - but bring back the white chocolate! And lower prices!
Nice place, my wife watches the programme on T.V so when we were in Brighton we "had" to go there. It is a lot smaller then expected and due to this and its popularity there is a queuing system which wasn't expected but still it was fine. When you get in, as obvious as this sounds, you are in a chocolate shop.... Some of the art they make from chocolate is amazing but at the end of the day it is just a chocolate shop. I'm not sure if others are like this but my wife likes to keep little memories of places she has visited so I brought us both a take-away hot chocolate drink in the hope the cup would be branded with their logo so the wife had a keep-sake, it unfortunately wasn't. To order a take away drink, you have to place your order with a member of staff who stands on the stairs and they then place the order for you and the drink is brought to you as you wait. You are not allowed into the cafe area (located upstairs) unless you are dining in. Again this all makes sense as it is a busy, small store but it does detract from the experience some what.
Visited because of the TV show. Nice little shop and friendly staff on the till - very accommodating of me taking pictures of items behind the counter. It is expensive, but the products are tasty and look gorgeous. Didn't visit the cafe upstairs but it sounded lively.

Just Magical. A visit to Brighton would not be complete without stopping by at Choccywoccydoodah. Try the Hot Chocolate and scrummy cakes in the cafe upstairs, but recommend you book in to avoid disappointment.
I've wanted to visit Brighton purely to go here for the last 8 years or so (since seeing them on TV) and it did not disappoint! The cafe was amazing! Gluten free and vegan options too which was great. The hot chocolate with cinnamon and the lemon cake were to die for.
Fabulous place doing the extraordinary
with delicious chocolate. Full of colour,
fun, and gorgeous chocolate. Friendly
efficient staff. Upstairs patio.
