Great Chinese food, cooked well and tasty. The service is efficient and not unfriendly or friendly. The surroundings are practical and kind of typical of proper Chinese eateries. This is somewhere you go to eat, not really entertain or take the wife out for a romantic meal. Kind of like a transport cafe that sells great Chinese food.

As you enter this very typical Chinese style restaurant you go upstairs to be seated and greeted by two ladies who inform you that there are two menus. One, Chinese for the western taste and the other Chinese food for Chinese people. It appears to be frequented by many Chinese people too! The first menu has the standard fare of most Chinese restaurants - sweet and sours etc. The second has a whole range of different dishes. We went as a party of five; two had the standard English Chinese type menu and three of us had the Chinese style. Apparently - slightly more expensive but bigger portions. We asked for recommendations and ended up with a tofu and beef dish, an aubergine dish and a quite hot chilli and cumin lamb dish plus an egg fried rice. There was plenty to eat and they were all very good but the aubergine dish came in a sweet and dark sauce and was absolutely delicious. What a find. Two of us had a beer and one had jasmine tea and we paid about £10 each. I left full and very happy and my wife can't wait to go back to try some more of that different menu.

My most favourite restaurant to go to for Szechuan food. Portions are generous, service is super friendly and price is super reasonable. We ordered three dishes and some boiled rice and we couldn't finish it all as the portion was big! Took some leftovers away and my stomach is thanking me for that today as I get to have round 2 while back in London :) Everytime I make a trip to Brighton this restaurant is my "must eat" list. 10/10 recommended! ❤️

So authentic and so tasty. Big portion and very good dumplings!! The owner and chef came from east north part of China, where people eat dumpling and noodles more. Their spicy dishes and soup are amazing as well. I can’t resist coming back again and again.

We bought T4 milk tea, and decided to find one spicy Chinese food restaurant. We came in, they took away our milk tea, saying no milk tea allowed to take in, they will keep it, even though I said I was not going to drink it. Food wise, good taste for spicy Dandan noodle, and very big portion, worth the money.

My favorite Chinease in Birighton! Love their hot & sour soup and the crispy vegetable spring rolls. Would dedinatelly recommend for a lazy night in when you don't feel lile cooking and fancy a good quality takeaway!

Most of my time when I go there - all I need is my 2-3 portions of dumplings and Chinese music from the speaker. I'm getting good service. Not just good - but FEELING LIKE A T HOME service. Good food. Vrey friendly and fast service. Yes, maybe some touch-ups in the bathroom or hall needs to be made, but I'm going to eat, not to shower. It's the only place even to compare with Ivy, where you get customer service and good food. Small chat with Jesica (Hong), short story to tell and - you feel comfortable. Asian people, Middle Easter people - always know how to welcome customers. How to offer food and product with no pressure. They are always looking forward to see you as returning customer. It is very very rare when I can give to anyone 5 stars. I'm giving to New Era Restaurant.
