Very nice breakfast and coffee. A greasy spoon that hit the spot, food was all got and fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and no waiting about for food.

Excellent food especially for the price, cute dining area. The basement room was a bit echoey but the HUGE BEAN serving more than made up for it. Great for students.

Good food good choice of menu. We like the fact that they have the choice of wholemeal bread and also filtered coffee. nice atmosphere prices are reasonable. Eat here a few times and Will visit again.

Great little spot for a huge breakfast at a very fair price. We were looking for a British breakfast on our one full day in England and I did a bunch of searching for somewhere in Brighton not too far from the train station. I found a bunch of places that really looked good but this spot seemed to be more like a local greasy spoon and not have high tourist prices. The breakfast was more than we could eat!

Unpretentious cafe in between North Laine and the Lanes. Lots of seating downstairs if you don’t see a table up top. The family that runs this place are honest and committed to providing reasonable food at a reasonable price. Mostly traditional English breakfast fare but they will make pretty much anything if you ask! Good selection of drinks and a great espresso.

I loved this place. Great food. Traditional English breakfast. The perfect food after a crazy night in Brighton. I cant wait to go back. I had beans on taost and cheese chips.. amazing!
