Pretty close to authentic Hong Kong style Cart/Bowl Noodles. Tiny restaurant and can be a little cramped inside. Must try the Cantonese Wonton Noodles, best in the area. Decent portion, except beef brisket ho fun in soup, which looks a couple of pieces short.
Food was great, really fresh and not at all gloopy as can be the case with some Chinese restaurants.
Service was quick.
We didn't really know what to order but the staff were very helpful and friendly and we had a great lunch.
Thoroughly recommend this place and we will be back!
My boyfriend and I are from Hong Kong and we had been to plenty of Cantonese/ Chinese restaurants in England. This by far is the one that tastes closest to home. Tastes just like our local food. The staff were all very nice. Reasonable price as well. Would definitely visit again :)
My partner and I walked down Preston street and noticed the food being served on an outdoor table. We came back the next day and ordered the pork dumplings, korean wings, beef stir fry flat noodles and for dessert the green tea mochi ice cream & HK waffle.
The food was amazing, great taste, delivered quick and hot. The service was also amazing very welcoming and funny staff would definitely recommend and eat there! We will definitely be back again!
Taste better than some of the famous noodles shop in Hong Kong, but not cheap at all.
Very authentic HK restaurant. Very tasty. Wanna try every dish. 😂
We wanted some quick snacky Chinese food in Brighton and was pleasantly surprised to find this little place. They had a good variety of dishes, ranging from snacks, rice, soup noodles to mala skewers. We ordered the egg prawn hor fun, the fried chicken wings, and some skewers. The hor fun was abit bland but you can adjust the saltiness yourself, as they do have soya sauce and condiments on the side for you to use. The fried chicken wings was really good and not too salty, just how I like it. The mala skewers were good too with a slight spicy numby taste from the mala, they were around £1.70 for each skewer so not too bad, although I would have preferred more skewer choices. This place is definitely worth going if you fancy the typical Hong Kong style ‘Cha Chan Teng’ type of food. Prices are decent too.
Value for money: 7.5/10
Food: 8/10
Ordered their satay beef noodle soup, roast duck rice bowl, along with a plate of salt and chili squid as starter, just amazing!! Their homade chili is to die for too 😆 Prices are very decent, especially for students. The staffs are all very friendly too. Definitely coming back here again!
Terrific food, friendly staff and super quick service. Had roast duck with rice, garlic greens, salt and chili wings and wonton noodles. Superb. Just like being back in Hong Kong.
And GREAT chili oil.
Yummy food! Quick service and friendly staff. If we ran out of resto to eat and think of, this is definitely the place to go to. Hahaha
